Off season & off the beaten path travel
Visiting the Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia, Argentina was the first WOW moment of our six months trip in South America. Before Patagonia, we had spent four weeks in Buenos Aires where we had a good time, but hardly comparable with the visual feast this part of the world offered us.
Beautifully preserved colonial cities, breathtaking mountain views, serene beaches, bustling capitals and much, much more. South America is a travelers dream, and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to explore it during six months. We visited a total of eight countries and saw both known locations, as well as hidden gems.
Watching the sunrise in Salar de Uyuni, enjoying the Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, coffee picking in Colombia, and trekking in Peru. Only a few of our experiences during the six months trip to South America.
