Happy 2017! May this year bring you joy, laughter, and loads of travels of course:). We could safely say that 2016 was the year of travels and we could not have been happier to finish it with another trip. This time we spent New Year’s in Europe, briefly visiting lovely Strasbourg in France and enjoying the beauty of the Black Forest in Germany.
Coffee picking in Salento – Colombia
I’ve been fascinated with Colombia ever since I was a child. One of the things I wanted to do most was to walk through the coffee plantations, pick coffee beans, see how coffee was made, and although I’m not a coffee drinker, I wanted to taste the coffee. Salento proved to be the perfect place for this dream of mine to come true.
Two days in Paradise – Tayrona Park, Colombia
After four days of trekking in the jungle , Tayrona Park came right down from heaven. We spent two days sunbathing, taking naps in the hammocks, walking on the beach, and sipping on coconut water. Pure bliss!
Colonial beauty – Cuenca, Ecuador
After the Galapagos Islands, it was time to discover another beauty: Cuenca. We had heard and read great things about this colonial jewel, and we were beyond excited to finally discover it.
We only had two days to explore the city before heading to our last stop: Peru. Instead of planning each day, we decided to take it easy, and just go with the flow.
